Welcome to the Lingting myverse mobile application (“Lingting” or the “App”). These Terms form an agreement between you and 涌启爱科技（上海）有限公司 (English name: The Telos Co., Ltd.; “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of Lingting.
Please read and understand these Terms before registering for or using Lingting, particularly the provisions concerning limitations of liability, suspension and termination, minors, governing law, and dispute resolution. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not register for or use Lingting.
By clicking to accept, registering, signing in, or using Lingting, you acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and the Lingting myverse Privacy Policy.
These Terms apply only to the Lingting App. Services independently provided by third parties through Lingting may be governed by additional third-party terms, which you should review before using those services.
You must have the legal capacity appropriate to your use of Lingting and the actions you take through it.
Lingting is not offered to children under 14. A child under 14 must not register for or use Lingting.
A minor who is at least 14 but under 18 should read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy with guidance from a parent or other guardian and use Lingting only with the guardian's consent and supervision. A guardian should guide the minor in using online services safely and appropriately.
You must follow the on-screen process and use a valid mobile phone number, SMS verification code, and any required invitation code to register or sign in. Information you provide must be truthful, accurate, lawful, and current, and you should update information that can be changed when necessary.
Your account is for your personal use. You must not transfer, lend, rent, or sell it, or otherwise allow another person to bypass normal registration or identity-verification procedures. You are responsible for safeguarding your device, verification codes, and authentication credentials and for activity through your account, except to the extent caused by us or otherwise provided by law.
If you believe your account has been used without authorization or faces another security risk, contact us immediately at hi@lingting.ai. After reasonably verifying your identity, we may invalidate credentials, restrict unusual activity, or take other necessary security measures.

The features available to you are those shown in your current version of the App. Some may be in testing, invitation-only, or gradually released and may depend on your device, network, region, or account status.
Lingting uses artificial intelligence to understand input and generate text, audio, summaries, rewrites, recommendation reasons, and other content. AI output is probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, bias, outdated information, or inappropriate content. We do not guarantee that it will always be accurate, complete, truthful, or suitable for a particular purpose.
You agree that you will:
To provide a continuous and relevant conversation, AI features may use the podcast, notes, discussion history, and memories you select as context. The Lingting myverse Privacy Policy explains the related processing of personal information.
You must not use Lingting to create, reproduce, publish, transmit, store, or facilitate content or conduct that violates applicable law, public order and good morals, or another person's lawful rights. Prohibited conduct includes:
You are responsible for the content and conduct associated with your account. To the extent permitted by law, we may respond in proportion to the nature, reach, and risk of a violation by providing a warning, reducing distribution, removing content, restricting a feature, suspending or terminating an account, retaining necessary records, or reporting conduct to a competent authority.
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in text, audio, images, notes, moments, comments, and other content you submit. You must have the right to submit, publish, and authorize us to process that content, and the content must not infringe another party's lawful rights.
To provide storage, display, sharing, synchronization, group chat, AI processing, and other product functions to you and the users you select, you grant us a non-exclusive license that is limited to what is necessary to operate Lingting and that may be sublicensed only to our service providers for that purpose. The license includes the storage, reproduction, transmission, formatting, display, summarization, and other technical processing necessary to provide the applicable feature.
This license does not transfer ownership of your content. When you delete content or close your account, the license ends when the content is deleted or anonymized, except where:
Without additional authorization from you, we will not use your non-public content for external advertising or publicly disclose your private discussions or memories.
Except for user content and content lawfully owned by third parties, the intellectual property rights in Lingting's software, interfaces, design, trademarks, logos, text, images, audio, technology, data arrangement, and other components belong to us or the relevant rights holder.
These Terms grant you only a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to use Lingting normally under these Terms. Unless expressly permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the service without prior written authorization from us or the relevant rights holder.
Lingting may display, index, or link to third-party podcasts, webpages, and other content and uses third-party cloud, communications, speech-recognition, and artificial-intelligence services. The relevant third party is responsible for its content and independently provided services, whose availability, accuracy, and legality are not entirely within our control.
Unless the law provides otherwise, transactions, disputes, or losses between you and a third party are governed by your arrangement with that party. We will protect your lawful rights within our responsibility and remain responsible for selecting and managing our service providers to the extent required by applicable law.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for product, operational, technical, security, legal, or force-majeure reasons. For a material change affecting your rights, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the App, a notification, or another prominent method where reasonably practicable.
The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, network failure, a service-provider outage, device compatibility, a security incident, government action, natural disaster, or another circumstance beyond our reasonable control. We will use reasonable efforts to restore the service and reduce the impact.
You may stop using Lingting and request account closure by emailing hi@lingting.ai. The Lingting myverse Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled after closure.
If you seriously or repeatedly violate applicable law or these Terms, threaten service security or another person's lawful rights, or engage in fraud, attack, abuse, or other high-risk conduct, we may restrict a feature or suspend or terminate service as appropriate. Unless urgent action is needed or notice is prohibited by law, we will reasonably explain the basis and provide a channel for appeal.
We will operate Lingting lawfully and with due care and will use reasonable efforts to keep it secure and reliable. Because of the nature and limitations of current technology and the internet, we cannot guarantee that the service will be permanently uninterrupted or error-free or that all content and AI output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, responsibility for an interruption or loss arising from the following will be allocated according to fault and applicable legal obligations:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for personal injury caused intentionally or through gross negligence, property loss caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and obligations arising under consumer-protection and personal-information-protection law.
We collect, use, store, share, provide, transfer, and delete personal information as described in the Lingting myverse Privacy Policy, which forms an important part of these Terms. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict regarding personal-information processing, the provision that more fully protects your rights while complying with applicable law will control.
We may update these Terms in response to product changes or legal requirements. For a material change affecting your rights or obligations, we will notify you through an in-App dialog, page notice, notification, or another prominent method and obtain renewed consent where required by law.
Updated Terms take effect on the date identified in them. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and request account closure. If you continue using the service after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms after we have completed any notice and consent process required by law.
The formation, effectiveness, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute arising from these Terms or the use of Lingting through good-faith consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction at the domicile of 涌启爱科技（上海）有限公司. Mandatory legal rules concerning jurisdiction over consumer disputes remain unaffected.
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective, and the affected provision will be interpreted as closely as legally possible to its original purpose.
Our failure to enforce a right under these Terms immediately does not waive that right.
